DAY 2 Chennai

Second day started off with a day trip to a nearby industry estate to a pharm co. It was about 1.5hr ride away from the city. It is indeed an eye-opening experience seeing the 40km long stretch of IT highway with my own eyes. It is really a hard evidence of what we often hear in class "Indian market is huge & growing". The best part was during lunch where we dine at the nearby beach resort which was owned by the elder brother of the boss of the pharma co. The moment I step into the resort, I fell in love with it. It was so carefree and relaxing. I swear I will go there again. This time I wish it will be with you cos I know you love such holidays.

After lunch was a sightseeing at the ever famous touristy place, Mamalapurum Temple. An ancient site. Remind me of Acropolis in Greece. I love such ancient beauty. It is amazing how people of that age carve such beautiful sculpture out of stone. Could you imagine all those in the photos are carved out of just one stone?!

It is the magic of nature how this stone in the picture doesnt roll down or fall despite it barely touching the ground for support.

At night, we visited this temple before dinner with the marketing manager's family. The dinner was unforgettably hilarious experience. I would say culture shock for the wife. Shall post it in the next post. I love Hindu temple. They are so colourful. It was crowded cos it was one of the god's birthday. I am more convinced that Hinduism and Buddism are derived from the same branch. We have alot in similarity. The way they pray to their god is pretty interesting. They will pull their ears, beng their knees and bounce bounce bounce as though they are dancing. Great sight! If not, for guys they will realy lie down with their face touching the ground. Very interesting?!
