黑社會@Vivocity

The Bosses
#02-156, Vivocity

This is a new Cantonese restaurant that is opened in Vivocity next to Sushi Tei. Pretty interesting concept with all black decor. Definitely not the usual traditional setting you would expect from the sterotypical Imperial Kitchen & Crystal Jade chains. I especially love the name. It is interesting how you would find the menu in the drawer. Ever since this place has opened, it has become my favourite chinese eatery. It also has nice view overlooking the sentosa waterfront.

I really cant stand nice looking cockery with zero functionality. This all glass teapot looks all so pretty but it is so blardy hot, I could not hold the cup to drink my tea. Damn stupid!

The food is really shiok so you could practically order anything and I can assure you that you will be more than satisfied. However, the portion is extremely small. So dont be afraid to order more. Price wise it is alittle more expensive than crystal jade but still affordable and reasonable. One meal will probably costs you $20-$25 per person.

This is my favourite. DIE DIE MUST TRY! Chicken wing stuffed with glutineous rice.

Roasted duck meat with the plain la mian just go so well together. Yummy! The crispy roasted duck tastes blend evenly at the touch of the la mian soup which is alittle blend on its own. The soft and QQ handmade la mian just goes easy on your teeth too. A perfect combination!

Do not try this custard bun. Definitely not my cup of tea. The fluffy egg yolk in a wet orangie custard just doesnt mix well together to appeal to my tastebud.

Been happy to be my usual self again hunting for new places to chill or check out new restaurants. Realized it is a luxury and a fortunate thing to be able to have the time, effort, money and great company to do just that.
